Manaslu Circuit Trek is popular trekking destination in Manaslu region. It is “untouched” natural paradise trekking in Nepal which is located on the border between Nepal and Tibet. It was officially opened as adventure walking trip for tourist in 1992. This trek is considered as one of the most challenging treks in Nepal and it rewards the trekkers with an adventurous and unparalleled alpine experience. Very less amount of tourist visits this trek route during a each year because it is one of the restricted trekking route in Manaslu Region that requires special trekking permits. Manaslu Circuit trek offers the perfect combination of rich cultural heritage, unsurpassed Himalayan scenic beauty and the fascinating Tibetan culture with its rich mountain biological diversity. People are very honest and respect their culture and tradition very much. Manaslu at 8153m is the 8th highest peak in the world. Manaslu means “The Spirit- Mountain” in the local dialect referring to the benevolent strong deity which dwells within. If you really want to see what all the excitement is about in terms of the most breath-taking mountain scenery on earth then look no further than the Manaslu Circuit through Larkya La Pass. Without equipment of climbing, you could able to cross this Larkya La Pass 5215m. Ahead you feel like entering into sacred Buddhist world of monasteries as we pass by huge mani walls, colorful prayer flags, old monastery, temple and Cherton. Scenery becomes even more impressive as we climb up into alpine environment on the approach to the Larkya La Pass 5215m/17109ft and after having a complete excursion all around, the trail takes you back along the Annapurna classis trekking routes to Besisahar and then you will catch a private vehicle or public bus and return back to Kathmandu.
